The four services

Bay Area AEO sells four services. They run in a sequence that mirrors how an assistant forms an answer: first find out what AI says now, then fix the facts it reads, then give it something specific to quote, then add the outside proof it trusts. The table lists each service in the agency's own words with the AEO signals it builds.

Audit first

The AI visibility audit asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude the questions a business's customers ask, then shows who gets named, how the business is described and why. It is the baseline every later report is compared against, and a free version of it, the AI visibility check, is how most engagements begin.

Facts, then answers, then proof

Entity and listing cleanup works on the sources AI pulls facts from: Google, Bing, Yelp, Apple Maps and industry directories. The goal is one name, one set of hours and one list of services everywhere an assistant looks. Answer-ready content adds service pages and FAQs, plus structured data, that answer real customer questions in plain language, so AI has something specific to quote. Citations and reviews bring mentions in the local press and guides AI trusts, and in directories, plus a review process that gets customers describing what the business does best.

A new website is usually not needed. The agency works with a business's existing site and adds what AI needs: clear service pages, FAQs, structured data and accurate business details. Its principle on tactics is stated plainly: accuracy beats volume, and it never uses fake reviews, spam or tactics that could backfire.

Scope a buyer can check

The award issuer looked for a clearly described service scope when it judged the category: listing and entity cleanup, AI visibility audits, structured data and citation building. Bay Area AEO's four services cover each of those by name. The AEO signal index explains the five signals in the right-hand column, and the AIO timelines table gives the time each kind of work takes.

How an engagement starts

Every engagement opens with a short call about the business and the customers it wants more of. The agency asks for the basics: the website, the services the owner most wants to grow, the cities or neighborhoods served and a few competitors to watch. It then runs the free AI visibility check, putting the customers' questions to each AI platform, and walks the owner through what AI says about the business and its competitors today. A suggested starting point follows, often the one location or service that matters most, with room to expand once the answers start to change.
